Perpetua Typeface Poster

Perpetua Typeface Poster

For this project, I exclusively utilized type and color, employing Perpetua typography as the sole graphic element in the poster. The poster aims to reflect the inherent nature of Perpetua as it is presently employed, aligning with the original intentions of the typeface designer. Initially introduced in 1930 for book printing, Perpetua has since found widespread usage in magazines and advertisements.

Final Poster
For the final poster, I aimed to achieve a classic modern aesthetic. To create a sense of nostalgia and reinforce the old book feel, I utilized left alignment to enhance legibility. This choice also aligns with one of the main characteristics of this typeface, which is its clarity. To evoke a delicate and elegant sentiment and to reflect a modern look, I employed a dark-purple blue. The blue color not only represents the typeface's subtle qualities but also adds a contemporary touch to the overall design.
